Graduate trainee and analyst

Camirus is currently looking for a graduate trainee analyst to work across the business supporting the director and key team members.

This is an excellent role for someone at the start of their career, interested in learning about the energy sector and industrial decarbonisation, project management and collaborative projects crossing the private and public sector. 

You should be logical and analytical, able to write good business English, and able to work well in multi-disciplinary teams, often drawn from several organisations.

Typical tasks might include;

  • collation of research reports
  • liaison with project partners and stakeholders
  • maintaining project documentation such as gantt charts, risk registers and action notes
  • attending industry events and representing the company
  • research into best practices
  • supporting the director, particularly in production of final reports
  • production of material for websites and supporting marketing activity 

Camirus has an excellent track record of developing analysts and many have gone on to successful careers with major companies after completing their projects.

You will be employed initially on a project basis for a minimum of six months and maximum of two years. The role is well-paid with a competitive salary (typically £30k p.a. depending on experience). Candidates should ideally have some understanding of the UK energy sector and a desire to develop a career in consultancy or project management.   

The roles will potentially suit individuals with different levels of experience and we welcome applicants with diverse experiences and skills. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality work to a deadline and work well in teams.

The roles are home-based and necessary equipment will be provided, although you will need to have a reliable internet connection and travel within the UK is periodically required as well as virtual meetings most days.
