As an independent expert in the UK distributed energy sector he currently sits on the Customer Engagement Group for Western Power Distribution providing independent scrutiny of their RIIO-2 price control submission. He’s also been a Commissioner for two independent commissions funded by the University of Birmingham and Energy Systems Catapult on the role of the UK regions in the UK energy system and waste to energy.
